Clear scope. Clear data use. No hidden promises.
This is a practical launch draft, not legal advice. Replace the bracketed business details and have the final version reviewed for the locations where you operate and sell.
How personal information is handled
Effective date: [insert launch date] · Business entity: [insert legal name and address] · Privacy contact: [insert business email]
Information we may collect
- Contact details such as name and email.
- Trip details such as dates, destinations, party size, preferences and concerns.
- Purchase, support and communication records.
- Basic technical and analytics data if analytics or cookies are enabled.
Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries, assess service fit and deliver purchased products or services.
- To provide customer support, meet legal obligations and protect the security of the service.
- To send optional marketing only where consent or another lawful basis applies.
Minimization and sensitive information
Do not send full passport numbers, payment-card details or sensitive medical information through a general website form. If identity information is genuinely necessary, we should explain why, request explicit consent and use an appropriately secure channel.
Sharing and retention
Information may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the business, or with a licensed travel partner when you request a partner service and consent to the introduction. Retention periods should be defined before launch and limited to what is reasonably necessary.
Your choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion and may withdraw marketing consent. The final notice should state the exact contact method and any region-specific rights.
Using this website and its guides
Information, not a guarantee
Travel information can change without notice. Prices, schedules, entry rules, provider features and app flows may differ by date, passport, route or provider. Always make a final check with the relevant official authority or provider.
No immigration, legal or medical advice
Nothing on this site decides whether you may enter China or satisfies a legal, health or insurance requirement. Official authorities and qualified professionals make those determinations.
Digital-product licence
Unless stated otherwise, a purchased guide is licensed to the buyer for personal, non-commercial use. It may not be resold, publicly uploaded, copied for a tour group or used as a white-label product without written permission.
Intellectual property
Site text, layouts, original graphics and paid guide content are owned by or licensed to the business. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their owners and do not imply endorsement.
Planning and remote support
Confirmed scope controls
The written proposal or order confirmation states the deliverable, timing, service window, included follow-ups, price and cancellation terms. Anything outside that scope requires a separate agreement.
Traveler responsibility
You remain responsible for passport and entry compliance, purchases, bookings, physical safety, insurance, health decisions and following local laws. Review names, dates and provider terms before completing any transaction.
Response and availability
A response target is not a guarantee. Remote support is not suitable for emergencies, medical issues, police matters, legal problems or urgent consular assistance. Use the appropriate local emergency or official channel.
Third parties
We cannot guarantee the performance, availability, pricing, refund decisions or policies of hotels, transport operators, attractions, apps, payment providers or other third parties.
Digital products and services
Digital guides
Digital products are generally non-refundable after access or delivery, except where defective, materially misdescribed or required by applicable law. Ask questions before purchasing if the intended use is unclear.
Planning services
If cancellation occurs before work begins, the confirmed terms may permit a full refund less non-recoverable processing costs. Once work begins, the refundable amount may be reduced to reflect work completed. After final delivery, planning fees are generally non-refundable except for a material failure to deliver the agreed scope.
Time-based support
Cancellation and rescheduling deadlines should be stated in the order confirmation. Unused time during an active support window does not automatically roll over unless agreed in writing.
When another provider is involved
Services involving packaged travel, transportation, in-person guiding, ticketing, accommodation or other regulated activity may be introduced to or contracted with a properly qualified partner. The partner's identity, role, licence information where applicable, price, terms and responsibility should be clear before purchase.
We should never present a partner's regulated service as our own if we are not licensed to provide it.
